How It All Started Chapter 2

                              Getting To Know You: Chapter Two
Andy asked me a series of questions, one question was, "What are your hobbies?" I replied with, "I like to play video games, watch anime, and I love- love- love nature, and um. . . I love helping people. . . Oh and reading. "He said,"What kind of video games do you play?" I replied,"Minecraft, Fox, Terraria, Left for Dead, and Slender." Andy said, "Nice. What kind of animes do you watch?" I said," Full Metal Alchemist, D. Gray-Man, Soul Eater, Black Butler, Fruits Basket, and Murder Princess are the ones at the top of my head and I can't remember the rest at this moment. My two favorite animes are Full Metal Alchemist, and D. Gray-Man. What are yours?" He said," I love those animes too, but High School of the Dead is my favorite." I replied,"Of course that would be your favorite anime!" He smiled and I think I saw his face get a little red. I brushed that thought out of my head. There is no way that a guy like him would every even think of liking me. We were silent for a while, and then continued our conversation. I started in first, "What are your hobbies?" It looked like no one had every asked him any questions about him before. He was thinking for a moment, then said,". . . Well I like . . . um . . . video games, watching anime and cartoons, and camping," took a little pause, "where it's calm, quiet, and peaceful." He was looking out of the window. I feel like he was thinking how it would be to be out in the quiet, peaceful, nature. I felt the same way, I wish instead of being here, in this crunched, suffocating, miniaturized room, I could be outside, reading my book, drawing or listening to music or just sitting out there letting the time go by, not having a worry about the world. Slowly our heads turned and our eyes meet. I was the first to speak. "My turn to ask. What kind of video games do you play?" I put my hand under my chin. Andy said," A lot! Halo, Minecraft, Left for Dead, and I could go on forever." I giggled and he smiled. My face flushed. I think his face got a little pink. I said, "One more question." He said,"Ask away." With a slight laugh, I asked,"Ok. Where do you camp at and which is your favorite place to camp at?" He said,"Let's see. . . We camp at the desert, the beach and mountains. My favorite. . ." I could tell by his expressions it was hard for him decide which one was the best," . . . is the desert. Do you ride?" I said,"Yes and I camp, too." I could tell that he was surprise when I said that I do ride, "At the same places, and some others like Camp land and things like that, but my favorite is the mountains." By this point I removed my hand from my chin and put it in my pocket. After that, he smiled and I did, too. I didn't realize how comfortable I was getting. After that I was slapped back to reality when the teacher started to talk. That was the que that class was starting.
